Fort Smith, Arkansas – May 17, 2019 – FFO Home, a top 100 home furnishings retailer, announced the roll out to greater Kentucky locations of Mattress & More at FFO Home, a new store-within-a store retail concept for its expanding bedding business.
The move follows FFO Home’s acquisition last year of Service Furniture and Bedding Inc., which included 13 stores operating under the Furniture Liquidators banner and 15 Mattress & More bedding stores in Kentucky. The Mattress & More at FFO Home store-within-a-store concept will debut beginning in June inside the former Furniture Liquidators locations, which were rebranded as FFO Home in the fourth quarter of 2018. The standalone Mattress & More stores in Kentucky will close in June, following special closeout promotions this weekend through Memorial Day, including 50% off floor models. Many of the Mattress & More employees have been offered jobs in Kentuckiana FFO Homes to strengthen the bedding expertise of the salesforce.
“Over the past several years, FFO Home has been on an ambitious growth-oriented agenda, broadening our geographic footprint from four states to nine, and more than doubling the number of FFO Home stores from 28 to 68,” said Larry Zigerelli, president and CEO of FFO Home. “The Mattress & More acquisition, in particular, significantly expanded our bedding platform, affording access to all the industry’s top brands. In addition to increasing shopping convenience and product variety for our customers, this exciting store-within-a-store concept will allow us to leverage our brand strengths and logistics as we look to build on our progress as a fast-growing home furnishings destination. We are now offering our Mattress & More customers outstanding products at the lowest prices to furnish their entire home.”
Mattress & More at FFO Home will feature top brands of a wide array of mattresses, lift bases and bedding accessories, including Tempur-Pedic, Sealy, Stearns & Foster, I-comfort, and Serta as well as FFO Home’s own Natural Elements mattress line manufactured in Fort Smith, AR. FFO Home has the most complete product offering versus competition and will continue to provide a variety of flexible financing options.
FFO Home expects to continue its expansion in new and existing markets in the coming months and years.
